Physicians report about a special way of healing on the spiritual path
The German medical doctor, Gerhard Blaettner recalls, “My own patients, whom I had been treating for more than a decade, came to tell me about their healings through the teachings of Bruno Groening. I had applied all the possible medical treatments, but I had not been able to alleviate their chronic suffering.”
Very skeptically at first, G. Blaettner, MD was eventually completely convinced of the effectiveness of Bruno Groening’s teachings when his own wife was spontaneously healed from chronic arthritis. Since then, he has been delivering free public lectures on this subject all over the world, with the help of many colleagues from various countries.
There is a Divine power that is the essence of life, and it can heal. Bruno Groening (1906-1959), a simple German man, had very precise, intuitive knowledge of this energy, and through his teachings made it freely available to everyone, helping thousands of people. His teachings continue to be shared today through one of the world’s largest, non-profit organizations for spiritual healing, The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.
Spiritual healing is not new, but modern medicine usually does not take it into serious consideration. However, when physicians who have received spiritual healing come forward to speak about it, the world pays attention. One such physician is Michele Galante, MD, a member of the Medical Scientific Group of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends, who after having suffered quite a few years with a serious heart condition, received a complete healing - spontaneously. Dr. Galante states, “I had breathing difficulties, chest pains and all of that for several years. It was angina pectoris and the heart was weakening. I was even having chest pains while resting. Now, I have no pain at all, even under the stress of exercise, and it has been almost three years.” This sixty-year old medical doctor from New York had a complete healing from a severe heart ailment, overnight.
In 1949, outside the town of Rosenheim, Germany, near Munich, up to 30,000 people came to see Bruno Groening. Healings began to happen throughout the crowd. An eyewitness reported, "Sick people got up from their stretchers, the disabled threw away their crutches and began to walk, a blind child regained their sight. Cries of gratitude revealed increasing numbers of healings, only some of which were outwardly visible. For a long time afterward, healings that occurred that day or had begun to manifest at this mass meeting came to light."
Today, healings like these are still occurring in the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends. These healings are carefully documented by medical doctors and have resulted in several thousand healing reports which are published and archived. Some of these reports have been posted on the Bruno Groening website.
Bruno Groening never treated anyone, and therefore did not heal them in the traditional medical sense. The healings took place as people consciously chose to re-establish their connection with God. Bruno Groening’s teachings are based on the influencing energy that spiritual forces have on human beings and all other life forms. This influence is much greater than most people realize. Mr. Groening said, “I give you the rules of the game of life so that you can master life!" “Trust and believe that the Divine Power helps and heals“.
A further contribution of the Medical Scientific Group is to give free lectures, presenting individually documented healings. These lectures are given at universities and other places around the world. In 2008, at the lectures held in Toronto and San Francisco, healings about osteoporosis, heroin addiction, depression, exhaustion, asthma, arthritis, long-term chronic pain, allergies, stomach and bowel pain, and many other diseases were reported. During these lectures, the audience is also able to experience the divine force of the “Healing Stream” directly and learn about how to use it for themselves and others.
Bruno Groening always said, “There is no incurable. God is the greatest physician! “

|Tuscan Leek, Potatoe & Bean Soup|
Description: Welcome those crisp winter days with a pot of hearty Tuscan bean soup. Leeks are a unique combination of flavonoids and sulfur-containing nutrients, the allium vegetables belong in your diet on a regular basis. Like their allium cousins, onions and garlic, let leeks sit for at least 5 minutes after cutting and before cooking to enhance their health-promoting qualities.
A good source of dietary fiber, leeks also contain goodly amounts of folic acid, calcium, potassium, and vitamin C. Easier to digest than standard onions, leeks have laxative, antiseptic, diuretic, and anti-arthritic properties.
Leeks contain many noteworthy flavonoid anti-oxidants, minerals, and vitamins that have proven health benefits.
Leeks are low in calories. 100 g fresh stalks contain 61 calories. Further, their elongated stalks provide good amounts of soluble and insoluble fiber.
Laboratory studies show that allicin reduces cholesterol production by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase enzyme in the liver cells. Further, it also found to have anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal activities.
Allicin also decreases blood vessel stiffness by release of nitric oxide (NO); thereby bring reduction in the total blood pressure. It also blocks platelet clot formation and has fibrinolytic action in the blood vessels, which helps decrease overall risk of coronary artery disease (CAD), peripheral vascular diseases (PVD), and stroke.
Leeks are great source of minerals and vitamins that are essential for optimum health. Their leafy stems indeed contain several vital vitamins such as pyridoxine, folic acid, niacin, riboflavin, and thiamin in healthy proportions. 100 g fresh stalks provide 64 µg of folates. Folic acid is essential for DNA synthesis and cell division. Their adequate levels in the diet during pregnancy can help prevent neural tube defects in the newborn babies.
In addition, leeks are one of the good source of vitamin A (1667 IU or 55% of RDA per 100 g) and other flavonoid phenolic anti-oxidants such as carotenes, xanthin, and lutein. They also have some other essential vitamins such as vitamin C, K, and vitamin E. Vitamin C helps body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals. Further, its stalks have small amounts of minerals such as potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, and selenium.
Often overlooked in leeks is their important concentration of the B vitamin folate. Folate is present in leeks in one of its bioactive forms (5-methyltetrahydrofolate, or 5MTHF) and it is present throughout the plant (including the full leaf portion, not only the lower leaf and bulb).
Fresh leeks should be stored unwashed and untrimmed in the refrigerator, where they will keep fresh for between one and two weeks. Wrapping them loosely in a plastic bag will help them to retain moisture.
Tips for Preparing Leeks - Cut off green tops of leeks and remove outer tough leaves. Cut off root and cut leeks in half lengthwise. Fan out the leeks and rinse well under running water, leaving them intact. Cut leeks into 2-inch lengths. Holding the leek sections cut side up, cut lengthwise so that you end up with thin strips, known as the chiffonade cut, slicing until you reach the green portion. Make sure slices are cut very thin to shorten cooking time. Let leeks sit for at least 5 minutes before cooking.
With a more delicate and sweeter flavor than onions, leeks add a subtle touch to recipes without overpowering the other flavors that are present. Although leeks are available throughout the year they are in season from the fall through the early part of spring when they are at their best.
