SMART (Stress Management and Resiliency Techniques) Mindfulness Program is a a unit of the University of British Columbia implementing mindfulness training programs in several sectors.

May 7 - June 25, 2019: Daytime 1:00-3:00 pm; OR Evening 6:00-8:00 pm

The smartUBC program trains participants to:
• Manage stress through a greater understanding and control of emotions
• Employ self-care techniques to cultivate personal and professional resilience.
• Create effective strategies for relating to challenging situations
• Enhance concentration & executive function (planning, decision-making,& impulse control)
• Revitalize purpose, personally and professionally
• Improve personal overall mental and physical health
• Promote happiness through healthy habits of the mind.
The 20-hour program is delivered in a workshop setting and consists of eight 2-hour sessions and a 4-hour silent retreat.
Tuesdays: May 7 – June 25, 2019
Two Options for Time
Daytime: 1:00-3:00 pm Pandosy Peace Centre or
Evening: 6:00 – 8:00 pm Pandosy Peace Centre
Investment: $300 for registration + $20 for manual
