Recipe
Broccoli and Sun-dried Tomato Frittata
Category: Breakfast
Description: Eggs! They are one of the more inexpensive and impressive forms of protein, containing 9 essential amino acids. There are obvious parts of an egg: the white and the yolk. The yolk is the egg's major source of vitamins and minerals, but also fat and cholesterol. However, the yolk also contains an enzyme that helps us digest cholesterol. The white is made mainly of protein. To get the health benefits without excessive fat, eat one yolk per thee whites!
*Healthy Fact!*Naturally raised free run chickens have dark rich yellow yolks whereas the typical factory farmed egg is pale in colour. The darker the yolk, the more vitamin dense it is. This is because of the high quality suitable food the chickens eat and the fact that they are living in a cruelty free environment.
