HEALING TOUCH FOR BABIES (HTB) workshop is a weekend experience into holistic babyhood and hands-on healing. With the mechanization of medical care and high tech practices in childbirth, this hands on energy work method not only promotes the natural capacity to heal, but also brings back the personal contact and spiritual context that an infant needs to be welcomed into this world.

Infants have sensitive and sophisticated senses from early pregnancy. Expecting parents can enhance their babies' emotional, mental, and physical health early on by beginning the bonding process from conception. Studies have shown that infants who are talked to and who are wanted, become much healthier individuals than those who do not receive a lot of attention during pregnancy. In addition, complications during labor, birth trauma and subsequent separation from the parents can possibly create long-term effects.

The HTB workshop is an energy-based program that teaches the concepts of clearing, aligning, and balancing the infants' energy systems through touch. Body, mind, emotion and spirit are influenced by this therapeutic process, thereby enhancing the capacity of self-healing. This workshop is for anyone who has a love for babies and an interest in maintaining their sense of inner security and optimizing their physical and emotional health. It is highly recommended for parents who are expecting.
It is also a continuing education program for nurses and for massage therapists and bodyworkers. Other health care professionals, counselors, and any other individual desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work using energy-based concepts with infants.

Is a service provided to women with breast cancer diagnosis, for up to six months — and it's free of charge.

We carefully match each woman with a Healing Touch practitioner—her "Bosom Buddy"—who will offer her Healing Touch treatments. The client and her Bosom Buddies volunteer meet regularly, working together to promote healing and self-care. Our clients have experienced results ranging from increased relaxation and pain relief to enhanced recovery after surgery. It is important to understand that Healing Touch is not a substitute for traditional treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, but a complement to them. Many Bosom Buddies clients choose to receive Healing Touch sessions before or after their cancer treatments to help them relax and to facilitate the healing process. Bosom Buddies of Hawai'i operates from The Queen's Medical Center Pain Management Services, and is supported by many local organizations including the American Cancer Society's Reach to Recovery program.

Healing Partners provides Healing Touch to women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Breast cancer patients are paired with specifically trained Healing Touch volunteers who provide ongoing sessions for six months.

Healing Touch Buddies is a program linking breast cancer patients with specially trained Healing Touch providers. In the tradition of Bosom Buddies of Hawai'i, Healing Touch Buddies of Jupiter offers free Healing Touch for one year to women challenged with breast cancer. The thread of Ka Poli Ola "Healing Embrace" connects us to our BBOH mentors. Initially funded by generous contributions from Healing Touch Florida Retreat participants, businesses, individuals and civic groups, Healing Touch Buddies is pursuing 501C3 tax exemption, enabling us to write grants and raise funds for our future works.

Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) is a bio-field energy application that bridges holistic animal healthcare with traditional veterinary medicine. In the HTA program, students learn how to assist animals with their health and well-being through the HTA Techniques. The workshops, consisting of four-levels, lead to certification as a Healing Touch for Animals® Practitioner. The HTA workshops teach participants how to assist their animals with healing of injuries, illness, physical and emotional trauma and how to work with behavioral issues. Dynamic weekend workshops provide hands-on experience for participants with easily applied applications as they work with dogs and horses. Other species such as cats, birds, aquatics and exotics are discussed during the teaching.HTA workshops are open to anyone interested in learning holistic healthcare techniques-veterinarians, veterinary technicians, animal healthcare providers, trainers, pet owners, kennel and rescue center operators and animal lovers.
